Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Friday 20th July 2018 at 11:00 DO NOT apply directly to the buyer.

All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Regulatory Delivery Directorate is the appointed market surveillance authority, responsible for enforcing the Ecodesign and Energy Labelling in the Environment for Equipment Outdoors Regulations within the UK. Suppliers are strongly encouraged to read the text at the following link in order to gain a full understanding of the role of the enforcement services with Government: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-regulation-enforcement-services BEIS will carry out market surveillance to determine the current levels of compliance in line with Ecodesign and Energy Labelling requirements placed on the UK market in relation to limits, labelling and Declarations of Conformity. Tenders are invited for testing according to the requirements detailed below.

To test a selection of Freezers to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these):
• Eco-design - EC 643/2009 and 2014/C 22/03
• Energy Labelling - EU 1060/2010, 2014/C 22/03 and 2011/C 49/05
The test methods applied should follow harmonised standards EN 62552:2013 as published in the Official Journal of the European Union, or other reliable, accurate and reproducible calculation and measurement methods, which take into account the generally recognised state of the art.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.

How to Register on the CCS eSourcing Suite

If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link 'Register for CCS eSourcing'.

Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so.

Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk.
