Description

The MCA wishes to purchase 600m of inshore skirt boom in 30 x 20m lengths. The boom will be approximately 750mm in total height.

This boom will be used, in the event of an oil spill, to protect sheltered inshore areas, harbours and estuaries. It will comprise of an air inflated chamber with a skirt held in position with a wire ballast.
