Description
This piece of work needs to be done in the Oxfordshire and Maidenhead areas. Full description of works needed are attached.
The Environment Agency owns circa 71 residential properties to which basic repairs and maintenance is periodically needed. Recent surveys have highlighted some underpinning work is urgently needed to Lock Houses at Sandford on Thames, Oxford, OX4 4YD; Days Lock, Little Wittenham, Abingdon, OX14 4RB and Cookham Lock, Odney Lane, Maidenhead, Cookham SL6 9SR. The causes are a combination of drainage problems causing water leaks, and the addition of extensions in the 1960s and 1970s with insufficient foundations resulting in differential movement.
No framework contract has been identified that can deliver this contract.

1. Please provide details of the chosen underpinning technique to be used for each property and explain the benefits of the system to the project.
2. Please provide at least four examples where you have used the proposed underpinning technique on similar projects. The work must have been carried out in the last 5 years.
3. The properties are located in or close to areas which are opening to the public, please explain how you will ensure the safety of the public while the works are being carried out.
4. Please provide an indicative outline programme for carrying out the works.
