Description
The University of Leeds, working in collaboration with the Go Higher West Yorkshire partnership is looking for organisations experienced in working with young people to increase their aspirations, attainment and confidence and overcome barriers to Higher Education. Working with young people in Years 9 -13 in areas where progression to Higher Education is low, particularly when achievements at GCSE are taken into account you will be able to engage and support young people to progress. We are particularly looking to support mentoring, confidence and resilience building activity and activity that introduces young people to the "world of work".
There are 27 ward areas included in this project in Leeds, Bradford and Calderdale, and Wakefield.
