Description
Following an annual inspection of a number of balconies, Stockport Homes is now seeking a contractor to carry out structural repair works at various addresses within Cheadle, Stockport. The total number of balconies to be worked on is 63.
The work will include carrying out concrete repairs, application of anti-carbonation paint and the renewal of the structural waterproofing.
You will be working alongside another specialist contractor who will be replacing the balustrading.
Due to the nature of the work, contractors will need to be approved by Fosroc in order Stockport Homes can benefit from a warranty. However Fosroc have indicated they will train contractors who are approved to use a similar system e.g. Sika. If you are approved by Fosroc or approved to use a similar system, you will need to provide evidence of your accreditation as part of your tender submission.
Please note, Stockport Homes and Fosroc reserve the right to disregard a tender from a contractor who they feel will not be suitable to carry out this work
