Description

A contractor is required from April 2022 (for up to four years) to provide additional wellbeing resources to support the provision of our wellbeing services for University of Southampton students.
The University Wellbeing Team sits within our Student Service department and provides a wide variety of support and proactive interventions for students who are struggling with poor wellbeing to support them in engaging with University Life.
From a student perspective the core services are as follows:
• Proactive wellbeing support including workshops to support students to develop skills for good wellbeing and events to foster a sense of community and connection
• Access to Wellbeing Support 24/7 through phone, online chat, email or face to face Wellbeing Chats: students can book a Wellbeing Chat with an advisor at any time - day or night - to discuss their wellbeing concerns and explore options for support.
• Specialist wellbeing support: the Student Wellbeing Team will continue to help students to access further support where required. This may include:
o Access to a team off Wellbeing Practitioners
o Access to the University Counselling Service
o Access to an ISVA on campus for students who have experienced sexual misconduct
o Facilitated access to support from external support services

The University of Southampton wishes to expand its Wellbeing provision to allow flex to meet demand throughout the academic year and better meet the needs of the students that we are supporting. This procurement seeks the provision of services in the following areas:
Telephone Support
Mental Health / Wellbeing Advisors
Counselling
Clinical Supervision
A Wellbeing Platform
Group Therapy
This Contract is advertised in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Public Procurement (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 and will be run under the Light Touch Regime.

E-Tendering Portal: The University is utilising an electronic tendering tool, In-Tend (https://intendhost.co.uk/ universityofsouthampton) to manage this procurement and to communicate with potential suppliers and/or tenderers (as appropriate).

8. Click the red 'Submit Return' button.
