Description

The business is currently undertaking a programme of improvements to variable speed limits (VSLs) on the strategic road network, to improve the appropriateness of mandatory and advisory VSLs based on safety and customer insight.
As part of the VSLs programme and based on key recommended improvements from the comprehensive review of VSLs, this project will provide consultant support for:
 Support the development of processes and reporting mechanisms for VSLs issues reported by our customers and colleagues as part of a virtual continuous improvement cell that can be used to track queries from report to resolution and use the intelligence gained to improve Highways England process and services.
 Support the analysis of data for benefits realisation for the CI Cell, based on improved customer responses, issue resolution and shared learning across the business.
 Support in rolling out the CI cell across all regions.
