Description

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. One of these Cutters, HMC Valiant, currently operating in Greece, has a requirement for some rudder repair work.

The full package of works required is detailed in the attached work specification document.

This contract will commence in October 2018 and the work package is required to be undertaken between 16 - 18 October 2018 in line with the Cutters Operational working pattern and area, following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation.

The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Janine Melia, Home office Commercial: Janine.Melia@homeoffice.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation, confirmation of yard availability on the stated dates and also confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded. (also attached for reference). Emails should be submitted by 16:00 hrs on Friday 28th September 2018.
