Description
NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (herein referred to as BNSSG ICB) is considering a procurement exercise for the provision of a Special Allocation Scheme. The Special Allocation Scheme will provide services to those patients who have been removed from their registered Practice due to demonstrating behaviours that are unsafe for management in a usual Primary Care setting.

BNSSG ICB recognise the importance of strong primary care at the heart of our integrated care systems and are keen to engage with Providers who can demonstrate a willingness to deliver key design principles and equity of service offer e.g. improving access and promoting prevention and self-care, as part of core service delivery and using digital channels to provide health care online consultations.
This process is being managed by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of BNSSG ICB.

The services are healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77).
The services are deemed to be subject to the full regime of current EU procurement legislation and as such this tender will be conducted in accordance with, and governed by, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This contract will therefore be awarded in accordance with the provisions applicable in Section 5 (sub-section 7) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
