Description

Shropshire Council is seeking a provider of grant and policy information to assist its Commissioning Support Unit in its work to keep up to date with regional, national and European policy developments and funding and grant opportunities. The contract will be for an initial 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years commencing on the 1st April 2017.

Shropshire Council is committed to maintaining up to date knowledge of the latest policy and funding information in order to maximise local investment opportunities and ensure Shropshire responds quickly and effectively to external changes and influences. Gathering information from a diverse range of local, national and international sources is time consuming and labour intensive. Shropshire Council wishes to minimise the time taken searching for information from multiple points through the use of a single, one stop information provider for policy and grant information. Time can then be invested in sharing information within the organisation and with key partners, and in promoting and working to respond to new opportunities.
Please send your quotation by email to: sarah.dodds@shropshire.gov.uk. A completed quotation should be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 3rd February 2017. You will then be contacted within the working week ending 10th February 2017 with the outcome of the decision.

You may wish to include the following information:
• Details of your product/ service and business.
• A brief proposal of how you plan to meet the requirements described in this document.
• Confirmation of your ability to support Shropshire Council with provision of information on an ongoing basis for an initial 2 years (with the Council having the option to extend for a further 2 years).
• A quote expiry date, any terms and conditions, payment terms and timescales.
• The total cost of your proposal with a budget breakdown (e.g. product cost, administration and support costs, other costs etc.).

How will quotations/proposals be scored?
The price element of this quotation shall be worth a maximum of 30 marks. The lowest price quoted will receive 30 marks. Other quotations will receive a % that reflects the difference in the marks between those quotes and the quote receiving the highest mark for price. The quality element of this quotation (the ability to meet the requirements set out above) shall be worth a maximum of 70 marks. Price and Quality marks will be added together to reach a total evaluation mark.
