Description

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of six (6) Coastal Patrol Vessels (CPV), all CPVs are equipped and certified to Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) MGN 280 Workboat Code of Practice, (HSVC) Category 2, for operational service in waters up to 60 nautical miles from a safe-haven.

The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements (C19837 - CPV Hunter- SoR - MSER).

Following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation, this period of works will commence on the 7th December 2020 and should be completed by 18th December 2020.
The Authority will use the following timeline for this contract only.

It is as follows

1. Compliant bids submitted by Wednesday 11th November 2020, 17:00hrs BST.

2. Evaluation of received complaint bids will take place between the 11th November and 13th November 2020.

3. The Authority will award on conclusion of its evaluation of bids, but no later than the 16th November 2020.

4. This package of works is expected to run for ten (10) working days.

This package is to be undertaken within the following geographic constraints;

1. Between Isle of Portland to Lowestoft

The Authority reserves the right to withdraw this requirement during any stage of this process.

Bidders are required to submit their written quotations in both .pdf and .docx formats.

The purpose of this notice is to make the SoR available to, and invite, potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully-itemised written quotation for the complete and specified work package.

The quotation is to be submitted in currency, GBP.

Any potential suppliers are invited to send an email to; Adam Jones, Home Office Commercial at adam.jones43@homeoffice.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing an itemised quotation.

Furthermore, acknowledgment is also required, of;

1. the Authority reserves the right to withdraw this requirement during any stage of this process; and

2. agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions (C19837 - T&Cs - CPV Hunter - MSER) on which the contract will be awarded is required.

Quotations should also be accompanied by a Cardinal Date Plan (CDP) as stated in the SoR, Part 1 section 6.3.

All required documentation should be submitted via email to Adam Jones, at the address above, no later than: 1700hrs BST, Wednesday 11th November 2020.
