Description

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office (The Authority). BF operate a fleet of five Cutters. One of these Cutters, HMC Vigilant (Damen 4207 Class), has a requirement for a period of works including Maintenance and Safety Equipment Recertification (MSER).

The full package of works is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements (SoR) (C22659 - HMC Vigilant - MSER - SOR - V1.0).

This opportunity will be let using the UK Government Short Form Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services (C22659 - HMC Vigilant - MSER - T&Cs).

This package is to be undertaken in the geographic area comprised of the Coast of England (UK) from Land's End to the Humber Estuary.

Bidders are required to submit their bid utilising the Bidding Tool (C22659 - HMC Vigilant - MSER - Bidding Tool - v1.0).

The purpose of this notice is to make the SoR available to, and invite, potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised bid for the complete and specified work package. HMC Vigilant qualifies as zero rated for VAT (VAT notice 744C).

Therefore, the Authority will use the following timeline for this contract only. It is as follows:

1. 1200hrs, 16 March 22 - deadline for clarification question submission to the Authority;
2. 1700hrs, 25March 22 - deadline for submission of bidding tool and specified documents and acceptances;
3. 25 April 22 - Contract Start; and
4. 16 May 22 - Contract End.
