Description

Belief in the North East is an exciting new community archaeology project being carried out by the Department of Archaeology, Durham University with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Over two years, the Department will work with members of the public from across the NE of England to explore, research and understand the religious heritage of the region from an archaeological perspective. The project will include a series of fieldwork projects, surveys of particularly monument types, as well as training opportunities, workshops and dayschools.
