Description

The procurement is for a co-ordinator who will oversee the implementation and monitoring of a 12 month high level pilot study on local authority enforcement of the Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property)(England and Wales) Regulations 2015.

The contract will be for a co-ordinator with strong knowledge of local authority enforcement and the Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property)(England and Wales) Regulations, allied to experience of working with local authorities who will oversee and monitor the pilot study of private rental sector (PRS) enforcement by local authorities. The co-ordinator will monitor progress for each local authority to ensure compliance with each agreed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department and that local authority. The co-ordinator will act as critical link between the Department and each local authority involved in the study, providing a number of reporting outputs, from monthly bulletins through to higher level mid-point and final reports which will assess not just the progress of each local authority but the overall achievements and issues arising within the study as a whole with detailed conclusions and recommendations for using the learnings gained which will help the Department develop an advisory toolkit of guidance on PRS for the future. The co-ordinator will also set up and run workshops at different stages of the study.
