The Renewable Energy Planning Database (REPD)

The Government is looking to retender for the provision of the collation, administration and maintenance of the Renewable Energy Planning Database (REPD). This database currently tracks the development of renewable electricity projects and storage projects through the planning system and reports to the Department. It is proposed that the remit of the contract is extended to include heat generation (e.g. the heat pumps, CHP, thermal output from energy from waste plants) and distribution (heat networks).
