Description
1.0 Introduction
The Town Council is seeking quotations for the design, supply and installation of a range of play equipment for a new play area to include fencing, two gates, seat and litter bin. The play area will be 12m x 15m and cater for the age range of toddler to 16 years. All equipment must comply with RoSPA requirements and any BS regulations currently in force.
This request for quotations is also being posted on the Government 'Contract Finder' website https://www.gov.uk/contracts-finder.
2.0 Requirements
The Supplier shall provide details of the proposed equipment with their quotation. Quotes should include a concept board, suitable for consultation and plans with CFH's. Inclusive equipment should be considered and metal equipment is preferred over wood. The maximum amount available for the project is £90,000.
It is expected that the play area will be installed during normal working hours (Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.30).
The successful contractor will work with DCM Surfacing Ltd, the chosen wet-pour providers and liaise with them regarding the timing of the project and any arrangements for the provision of welfare facilities and security fencing.

4.0 CDM
The Supplier will take on the roles of designer and contractor for these works and shall provide designers risk assessments and installation risk assessments and method statements. The Supplier shall provide evidence that they can meet the requirements of the CDM Regulations.
5.0 Submission requirements

The supplier shall provide the following information with their quotation:
a. Illustrative details of proposed equipment and price.
b. Installation cost (taking into account welfare facilities and security fencing)
c. Concept boards suitable for consultation and a plan of the site, showing CFH's.
d. Expected installation time.
e. CDM training evidence.
f. Agreement to work with the Council's chosen wet-pour provider.
