Description
Provision of payment service to enable foreign hauliers to pay a daily, weekly, monthly or annual Levy charge for using U.K roads.
The system will enable foreign operators to pay the Levy, provide a data store of payments made and public register available via GOV.UK and will support enforcement.
The current contract expires on 02/09/2020 so DVLA intends to engage with the supply market to explore options for a replacement solution.
A full specification of requirements is not currently available, but an overview is available upon request.
DVLA would like to make clear at this juncture there is no guarantee of a call for further competition.
All routes to market will be considered, including evaluation of all CCS Framework Options.

We intend to convene a Supplier Innovation Day in Swansea on 01/08/2019. Prospective suppliers are asked to register interest in attending by emailing the address provided by 9th July.
The intention is develop and enhance DVLA understanding of possible solutions, costs and potential timescales for implementation and integration.
