Description

The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is seeking bids for a 15 year full repairing and insuring lease of the concert platform in Crystal Palace Park.
This is not a procurement process run under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 or the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016. This is marketing exercise to secure a tenant who will operate from the premises and invest in the Property to bring a neglected park asset into commercial and community use. In assessing the bids the Council will be complying with its duty under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 not to dispose of land for 'a consideration less than the best that can be reasonably obtained.'
The concert platform will be open for viewing on Friday 25th January 2020 in slots of 50 minutes between 10am and 4pm. If you would like to register for a slot, please respond via the message section of this project on the London Tenders portal www.londontenders.org no later than 12pm on Thursday 24th January 2020.

The open day will allow bidders to familiarise themselves with the spaces and requirements. The Council will not be able to provide technical advice but bidders are welcome to bring any cost consultants, engineers, etc. as they see fit. Additional dates will be added if necessary.

Please note any queries regarding this lease should be directed through the message section of the London Tenders portal www.londontenders.org
