Description

BACKGROUND: A new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) is planned as part of the community facilities to support a new residential development at Temple Herdewyke, part of Burton Dassett Parish. A new village hall will also be built, for which a separate contract is being tendered.

Planning permission will be in place prior to contract commencement.

LOCATION: The site is at Sandstone Place, Temple Herdewyke, Warwickshire, CV47 2PB.

The site is flat and accessible, with existing tarmac car park.

SUBCONTRACTORS: You must specify what supplies and work packages you are using subcontractors for, and which are using your own manufactured items and staff.

COLLUSION: Any collusions with competitor suppliers will lead to disqualification from the contract.

SUMMARY REQUIREMENTS:

One 20m x 10m MUGA, with 200sqm 75mm of recessed tarmac and 150mm sub-layer, with kerb edging. Note ground drops by circa 600mm from east to west.

Drainage provision around boundary into ditch running along north side.

3m high painted metal fencing.

2x open recessed goals with basketball hoops above

1x chicane side entrance

Thermoplastic-type markings for 5-a-side football and basketball

Removal of all waste (in co-operation with concurrent village hall construction if appropriate)

RoSPA-approved Inspection and Report upon completion.
