Description

The ParksHerts mobile friendly application aims to encourage local residents to increase their usage of Hertfordshire's Parks and Open Spaces and therefore improve their physical and emotional health and wellbeing. The project is being supported by 9 out of the 10 Hertfordshire District Councils along with Hertfordshire County Council Public Health. Approximately 110 parks will be included at launch date.

Hertsmere Borough Council is the lead authority for the purposes of this tender process and will enter into contract with the successful contractor for the redevelopment of the interactive app. It is anticipated that the individual local authorities will then enter into individual agreements for any ongoing maintenance of the app.
