Description

The Council is seeking to procure a new centralised repository for spatial and non-spatial data. The Solution must provide a geodatabase management system that supports spatially enabled databases allowing efficient administration, management, import and publishing of data.

The spatial database and associated data management tools are required to store, manipulate, query, spatially query, combine and style spatial datasets. This database will not be specific to any mapping solution, but should provide mapping to a range of systems including MapInfo desktop software, and GeoServer.

The Council requires an On Premise hosted Solution that covers the provision of corporate GIS data and metadata management allowing management of the database and data availability to users of MapInfo, intranet GIS, and other mapping systems
