Description

Haringey Council is inviting potential providers to a Microsoft Teams virtual market engagement event, in relation to the forthcoming procurement for Provision of Single Homeless Pathway Services.

The Market Engagement Event will be held on:

Date: Thursday 29th April 2021

Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm

Venue: Virtual event

A previous market engagement event was held in March 2020, this event will offer a further opportunity to engage with the market and provide potential providers with up-to-date information about the services.

The Pathway will include the following types of accommodation-based provision:

• Intensive & Long-Term Support Provision (Multiple
Disadvantage)
• Intensive Support Provision (Multiple Disadvantage)
• Women's Intensive Support Provision (Multiple Disadvantage)
• LGBTQ+ Transitional Support Service
• Transitional Support & Move on Provision

The Council currently commissions supported housing for adults in a combination of high support 24-hour staffed, accommodation based setting and medium to low visiting support in dispersed properties around the borough.

Services will be remodelled to provide trauma informed support that enables homeless people with histories of abuse, rough sleeping, mental and physical health, substance abuse and criminal justice involvement to access services rapidly.

The redesigned Pathway will offer a greater range of provision types, settings and support levels that enable people to build on their assets and to develop their independent living skills. The new services will form a clear and coherent pathway in which the goal of support is to facilitate a transition to independent living. Services will be focused on preventing repeat homelessness, building skills and resilience and improving health and wellbeing outcomes so that people can live fulfilling, healthy and independent lives.

The services will contribute to the delivery of the Council's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping (2018) strategies by helping to prevent and relieve homelessness, reduce the use of temporary accommodation and provide rapid exit from street homelessness for those in need.

It is anticipated that the contracts will start in March 2022 and shall run for an initial term of 4 years with option to extend for a further 3 years (7 years total).

If you would like to attend the engagement event, please register your interest before 1:00pm, Tuesday 27th April 2021 via the following link:

Please provide the name and email addresses of the people who would like to attend from your organisation. Once registered, delegates will be sent an invitation to a Microsoft Teams meeting. Places will be limited to 2 people per organisation.

Please note this notice is not a call for competition. Potential providers will be required to respond to the future tender opportunity once a contract notice has been published via Find a Tender Service (FTS) and on Contracts Finder.
