Description
With ambitious targets to grow our housing portfolio and working alongside developers and registered providers to ensure our current stock meets the needs of our residents, Milton Keynes Council is looking for a housing data provider as a matter of urgency. Housing data and intelligence are key to understanding the local housing market, whether for valuing properties, setting rents, working with partners to ensure affordable homes are delivered or developing strategy and ensuring the correct property types and tenures are developed.
The Council are looking for a data provider that can provide the following data on a self-service style portal or dashboard. The data must be drawn from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity and these must include, but not be limited to, the land registry, mortgage lenders, popular property sites like Zoopla and Rightmove, and government data, etc. Data integrity is paramount, so this is a key factor in the decision of which provider to work with.
All data must be available at a national and local level (Milton Keynes):
• Actual house sale prices (not asking price data)
• Property price trends
• Supply and demand for properties
• Demographic information relating to buyers and renters
The data must be exportable to excel, as a minimum. Data must be as up to date as possible. Monthly updated data preferred.
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable provider that already works with local authorities, builders and housing associations.
