This is funded as part of Headlands to Headspace (H2H) which is Morecambe Bay Partnership's Heritage Lottery Landscape Partnership Scheme. It is hoped that it will be supported and used by partner organisations too.
Aim of this work:
The aim is to develop an overarching interpretation strategy for the Bay to guide Morecambe Bay Partnership and partners. This should
Develop a cohesive narrative of the Bay for visitors and leisure users
Incorporate cultural and natural heritage
Develop key themes for interpretation
Provide a hierarchy of themes or messages at key sites and
Provide guidelines on methods of delivery at key sites.
Provide for a co-ordinated approach to telling the stories of the Bay and work alongside the Morecambe Bay brand creating a cohesive feel.
Highlight best practice of relevance to this work.
We want the interpretation strategy to help in a practical way to secure better results from the individual interpretation planned within the Headlands to Headspace Scheme.
