Description

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS HMR CCG) are looking for suitably qualified Providers to submit tenders for The Provision of a Primary Care Mental Health Pathway.

The aim of the Provision of a Primary Care Mental Health Pathway is to offer a seamless service working in a partnership approach to deliver a cohesive pathway incorporating, primary, secondary and third sector health care providers. The Primary Care Mental Health Pathway will establish effective working partnerships and networks with the wider range of social and health interventions commissioned to support the health and wellbeing of the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Population. The Provision of a Primary Care Mental Health Pathway consists of the following Services in which the suitable Provider(s) will be required to provide both:-
• Primary Care Psychological Therapies that must be accessible for 16+; and
• The Getting Help Mental Health offer that must be accessible for 18+.
It is NHS HMR CCG's expectation that the Primary Care Mental Health that the service will be provided in a partnership model or a new innovative model; with a single provider who shall act as a "Lead Provider" and shall be responsible for managing the entire care pathway, and shall be required to enter into subcontracts with other providers for parts of the care pathway. The benefits of this model include opportunity for innovation and collaboration, opportunity for third sector and independent sector provision as well as NHS provision, and the embedding of patient choice of treatment. The CCG would welcome any further models that be appropriate and deliver the intended form as described within the Service Specification.
The objectives for this Service are detailed in the Service Specification.
The contract duration will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years with a Service Commencement date of 1st May 2017. The indicative annual value is £2,720,000. The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the tender process will be conducted as an open process.
