Description
This tender relates to the programme: Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for advanced practitioners in the Further Education and Training sector. The roles of advanced practitioners (APs) in this context are diverse but "are commonly described as a peer-to-peer support structure where (mostly) active practising teachers or tutors provide advice and guidance focused on improving teaching, learning and assessment" (Tyler et al, 2017, p. 2). This programme offers a range of CPD activities for aspiring advanced practitioners, those in advanced practitioner roles (or advanced practitioner-type roles) and experienced advanced practitioners (for example, alumni of the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) advanced practitioner programme or Advanced Teacher Status - ATS).
