Description

Project Summary

The council has received planning permission, subject to conditions, to demolish and remove the existing storage shed and container and replace this with a new construction in an adjacent location.

The council wishes to achieve value for money for its parishioners and hence is flexible with respect to the detailed design and specification of the new construction.
Your proposal should be in accordance with all elements of the permission and the risk assessment, Tree Protection and Arboricultural Method Statement.

Pre-Construction Preparation

Please detail the costs for any items of preparation, to meet any conditions or regulatory matters that are required but not yet, in your opinion, satisfied for the project to go ahead to construction.

Building Specification

The proposed building specifications must meet the basic design and requirements set out in the planning permission. The Council will not consider applications that in not in accordance with the permission and the conditions therein.

Please supply a proposed design and the specifications for the building and any foundation, and a fixed price quotation for the supply and construction of the new building and its foundation. If any elements of the project cannot be fixed in price, please contact the Council in advance of submitting the tender.

Security

Please indicate how the building would be secured.

Life of the new building

Please include an estimated life-span for the building, and also all applicable warranties provided for the building and any specific elements.

Timeline and payment terms for the project

Please include an estimated timeline for the construction of the building to completion and the required payment terms.

Demolition and removal

Transfer of equipment

Following the completion of the new construction, the Council will arrange for equipment to be transferred to the new building, prior to demolition of the old building. A time limit for this transfer should be indicated in your proposal, if applicable.

Please include a quotation for the demolition and removal of the existing building and the container. The site should be left clear of any made-made material. Please detail how the existing elements would be disposed of.
