Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
The University of Bath requires two separate deposition tools for the David Bullett Nanofabrication Facility; an Electron Beam Evaporator (E-beam) and a Thermal Evaporator (Thermal). The University is open to tenders for the two systems from differing suppliers. However, we may also consider purchasing both machines from the same supplier if this offers the best value.
