Brief description:

This is an exciting opportunity for 3 Mobile Contact Tracers to join the Public Health Contact Tracing team. Further information is provided in the Job Description and Person Specification attached. Full training will be provided prior to starting in the role.
The primary role of the mobile Contact Tracing team is to travel around the borough of Sandwell (or designated town) to visit the public in their homes where it has not been possible to contact them via telephone. However, you may also be required to support the static team working from home or on site, depending on case volume and needs.
Your role will be to carry out initial interviews to obtain details of close contacts and other relevant information, and to offer public health advice and reassurance to ensure that individuals are following guidance on self-isolation. You will also need to provide assistance where required by directing individuals to the appropriate Council department, as well as escalating any concerns to team leaders or managers.
To minimise contact and ensure COVID-19 safety measures are being followed, interviews with cases will be completed in your own vehicle using a mobile phone and laptop. The role may also require you to patrol the six towns of Sandwell to support businesses with the re-opening of the high street and support the public with increased understanding of COVID-19 public health measures.
A Basic DBS will be required for this and they must have access to your own Vehicle to be able to travel around the borough.
This role falls in side of IR35
Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
