Description

To gain a more mature ITAM process, DWP will need to invest in not only a quality License Management Solution, but will also need to make sure that the data supplied into that solution is of a high standard. Good data lights up other areas within the business. By introducing ITAM best practices, tools, and resources while providing a complete view of your infrastructure it will help DWP drive better IT decisions throughout all software and related asset lifecycle management. In addition to many ITAM benefits, utilizing ITAM in other areas can help you stay on top of the day-to-day, dynamic changes to your infrastructure such as adding new people or devices, managing access levels to sensitive data, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and rolling out applications that support new business needs. In addition to this a good ITAM tool, with good data, will save the Asset Management team at DWP time and resource, freeing them up to be more proactive.
