Description

This notice relates to High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd's requirement to undertake Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessment surveys.

A WFD assessment of the HS2 proposed scheme has previously been undertaken for surface water and groundwater bodies as part of the main and supplementary environmental statements.

The previous WFD assessments were largely undertaken with desk based information. HS2 Ltd previously commissioned surveys of water bodies along the Phase One line of route to supplement the desk based assessment and confirm some of the conservative assumptions made within the Environmental Statements. The assessment to date has identified a number of locations where further survey and assessment is required.

The Technical Directorate Environment Team requires an external organisation to undertake these surveys, resulting in a series of reports for each site (hereinafter referred to as the "Services").

To access the ITT, please follow the steps set out below:

a) Login to the HS2 eSourcing Portal (https://hs2.bravosolution.co.uk) with your unique username and password.
b) Click on the 'ITTs open to all suppliers' link.
c) Click on the relevant titled ITT item.
d) Click the 'express interest' button in the 'actions' box on the left hand side of the page (this will move the ITT pack into the applicants 'my ITT' box). This is a secure area for projects only.
e) Click on the ITT code. The applicant can now access any attachments by clicking the 'settings and buyer attachments' in the actions box.
f) Download the documents relating to the ITT. Click 'attachments' on the left hand side. The number in brackets refers to number of documents that need to be downloaded. Click on the bold and underlined filename. Select 'save' and store on your PC.
