Courier Services
Through this invitation to tender (ITT) British Council is looking to hire a professional courier company to provide efficient and cost-effective delivery solution for business-critical service, who can manage the complete courier operation in SSA within local markets and the Region.
2.2 The purpose and scope of this ITT and supporting documents is to explain in further detail the requirements of the British Council and the process for submitting a tender proposal.
2.3 The objective is to create a framework of supplier(s) for British Council who can provide courier services within International, local markets and the Region most effectively to ensure value for money. The tendering process is to create a framework of supplier(s) for our services;

2.4 How the framework Contract is expected to be structured:

  • 1 The primary objective of this project is to contract capable service providers for end-to-end delivery of British Council consignments/ couriers. They include confidential materials such as (but not exclusively) exams papers that British Council conducts on behalf of respective boards and bodies. This is to be done in a timely, sufficiently fast, secure, effective and efficient manner while deriving saving from the quantities for the British Council. The contracted service providers will be expected to introduce further efficiencies, standardisation and scalability in the delivery process. The service provider shall ensure security checks are done for the courier personnel who will working on BC assignments. All this shall be delivered under secure and confidential conditions, meeting British Council and Examinations Boards standards, which shall be shared with the successful suppliers.
