Description

The Science Museum is developing a new permanent Mathematics Gallery, due to open in autumn 2016. The Mathematics Gallery draws on the museum's world-class collection to reveal how mathematical practice has shaped our world over the last 400 years.
The scope of work is for the design, development, prototyping, production, delivery and warranty support for a suite of 4 'how it works' exhibits (2 interactive animations and 2 passive animated films). These exhibits explain how particular objects work, and in so doing reveal the core mathematical ideas and processes behind their operation. The Developer should propose an innovative approach that is appealing and accessible for the target audience.
