Description

UKAEA Yorkshire require a laser scanning system to map 3D positional point clouds on the surface of a medium-sized component. The laser scanning system should be capable of easy positioning, quick data collection for sub-100 um resolution and sub-10 um accuracy for the whole component, be simple and quick to assess damage by comparing scans before and after some deformation process has taken place, and have fully integrated hardware and software with easy export of point clouds for CAD generation in other software.
