Description

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) is inviting tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of the servicing and maintenance of the Council's air quality automatic monitoring sites (KC1, KC2, KC3, KC4 and KC5). This is to incorporate the servicing and maintenance of air quality analysers, logging systems, telemetry equipment and air conditioning units.

The contract will be established for a duration of 36 months. The delivery of the contract is anticipated to begin on 01/07/2024.



The objectives of this contract are:

The Contractor shall attend all non AURN analysers twice yearly to undertake a full service of the instruments, to the manufacturer's specification, and calibrate temperature sensors within two weeks of the QC audit.
The air conditioning units shall be serviced annually (between January and March) and covered by the maintenance agreement (including all call-outs under the 48-hour call out service).
The Contractor shall operate a 48-hour call out and attendance service in response to all breakdowns and where the station instruments and/or datasets are not as expected.
