22-SJM-074 - Metallurgical sample preparation equipment

Cutting Equipment, Mounting Equipment, Grinding and polishing Equipmnet/Cleaning Equipment for metallic/other sample preparation

Metallurgical sample preparation equipment is needed for teaching, research and projects in the area of advanced materials and manufacturing at the University of Portsmouth. We are looking for a supplier that can supply the following : One item of cutting equipment, One item of mounting equipment, One item of grinding and polishing equipment and/or one item of cleaning equipment for metallic and other sample preparation. Final requirements will be advised at award point and subject to budget.
Supplier is expected to supply, deliver, and locate, and install the product in room of choice. Suppliers must be able to supply all pieces of equipment and meet the mandatory requirements listed in the tender documents.

Delivery , installation and training are anticipated to take place in January-March 2024.
