Description

City of Bradford Metropolitan District council (the Council) are seeking to procure a new management and maintenance contract for its exiting Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to replace an existing contract which is soon to come to an end.
Under the existing contract the Council physically hosts the Cisco FirePower and LogRhythm SIEM hardware on site however the incumbent Provider administers, amends and supports the software and system policy remotely as well as providing detailed reports at agreed frequencies. In addition, the incumbent Provider also provides a round the clock monitoring service for the IDP platform, alerts the Council to any critical and high-level security threats detected and takes mitigative action where necessary.
