Description

The Ministry of Justice Commercial and Contract Management Directorate will be planning to re-tender it's current Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) Contracts. This notice is to publish a future opportunity to warm up the MHE sector to a potential future relet, and allow interested suppliers (SME to National Suppliers) to register an interest with the contracting authority (see contact details) in readiness for the subsequent full OJEU notice in 2016.

The use of MHE is required within the Ministry of Justice to ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation, and to facilitate maintenance of the Ministry's property at its National Distribution Centre in Branston and to facilitate the movement of goods and materials within Prison Service Industries/Estates/Farms at various Public Sector Prisons in England & Wales.

The contracting authority will be going out to market for a range of MHE including:
