Description

This Invitation to Tender is for the development of up to 13 of the products/approaches for the Tranche 1 trials. The total maximum budget for all of the products is £200,000 excluding VAT. The products have been batched by the skills required to develop them into 3 separate lots. Suppliers can bid for as many or few lots as they desire. The lots are as follows:
- Lot 1: Learning Support Skills Expertise
- Lot 2: Maths Education Expertise
- Lot 3: Dyscalculia
The maximum budget for Lot 1 is £65,000 excluding VAT. The maximum budget for Lot 2 is £115,000 excluding VAT. The maximum budget for Lot 3 is £20,000 excluding VAT.
Suppliers will be expected to produce: products, and associated supporting documents, of sufficient quality to allow for robust testing though the RCTs and quasi-experimental trials; handover documentation and effective working with the RCT evaluation suppliers to ensure that the products are correctly implemented; and technical documentation explaining how the optimal design for each product was arrived at. This needs to include any issues encountered with either the process or the final design that suppliers consider may affect the trials. This technical document may be published as part of the Implementation and Process Evaluation of the associated trial and as such should be written in the DfE house style.
