Description

Scope of the project
The Cost Advisor / QS will be appointed by the Trust.
It is possible that Lot 1 and Lot 2 design teams will be from different organisations.
The project is to be undertaken as a traditional Joint Contracts Tribunal Intermediate contract, and in accordance with the requirements of CDM Regulations 2015. The 2 building extension proposals shall be submitted into 2 separate designs, procurement and administration of the project. The budget for Lot 1 is 250K and Lot 2 is 750K.
The project works are to be undertaken using suitable JCT Contracts (to be advised and created by the QS) and in accordance with the requirements of CDM regulations 2015.
The design teams will be constituted at the discretion of the Principal and Lead Designer in order to provide the following services for planning, design and building works delivery;
·Principal Designer / Lead Consultant / Architect
·Structural Engineer
·Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineers
The Designer appointment will include the following stages and headings:
1.Design including obtaining planning permission.
2.Tender and contract administration (including Building regulations approval)
3.Construction and equipment supply
4.Technical commissioning and handover
5.Post project evaluation/post completion
