Description
Colchester Borough Council, as lead authority for the North Essex Parking Partnership, is seeking a contractor to provide and remove road markings. These must meet all legal requirements to allow enforcement of the relevant traffic regulation orders, such as the Traffic Signs and General Directions 2016. The North Essex Parking Partnership manages on-street traffic regulation orders across Braintree, Colchester, Harlow, Epping Forest, Tendring and Uttlesford Districts and so the contractors must be able to work across all of these areas when required without council officer supervision.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
The initial tender period will be for 12 months from 4th April 2022 to 31st March 2023, with the option to extend for a further 4 years (annually 1x1x1*1) until 31st March 2027. The annul spend does vary dependent on requirements but we estimate an annual spend of £120,000.00
