Description
Haydon Wick Parish Council will shortly be going out for tender on a large Grounds Maintenance Facility project. To assist with the specification of the tender the Council is host a supplier engagement event with contractors whom may be interested in the works.

Background
Haydon Wick Parish Council has a requirement to deliver a new open spaces grounds maintenance facility to house its Parks & Open Spaces Team. The Council is keen to provide a facility that complies with the latest climate change aspirations and is in keeping with its environment.
The Council is looking for a contractor to provide a turn key service taking the project from the time that planning permission is agreed.

Specifics
1. A planning application has been submitted for Cold Rolled Steel Building with wood effect.
2. The building is 2 storey and dimensions 7m width and 30m in length. With a fenced compound.
3. Life span of the building minimum 25 years but longer preferred.
4. The building must meet all relevant building regulations.
5. The building will be climate friendly with solar panels, rain water recovery.
6. A provision to electrically charge 8 vehicles will be required on the outside of the building.
7. Internal fit out to be designed and delivered to provide a modern working environment for our teams
8. Services to be incorporated:
a) Fresh and Waste Water services.
b) Electricity, utilising Solar and the national with additional for vehicle charging.
c) Communications connectivity from City Fibre.
