Digital Visitor Engagement is a strand of the Business & Tourism programme that will deliver two major new capabilities for the West Midlands:
1. The Digital Visitor Information Network (DVIN)
2. Integrated Digital Engagement Analytics (IDEA)
The winning suppliers will generate a strategy and implementation for Strand 1 and Strand 2 that will raise awareness and improve perceptions of the UK and the West Midlands in the leisure tourism, cultural tourism and business tourism sectors.
A third stand of this tender requires the procurement of a Digital Consultant to provide a visitor experience and capability audit of our core channels in the DVIN.
The Digital Visitor Engagement activity will have five main objectives, which align with and support the objectives both of the Tourism workstream and of the wider Business & Tourism programme:
1. Increase awareness (discovery) of the visitor offer
2. Retain more visitors within the region
3. Increase visitor spend
4. Increase efficiency
5. Support evaluation of the Tourism workstream
