Description

Building construction work. Multi dwelling buildings construction work. Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services. YMCA Thames Gateway is seeking a Pre Construction Services Agreement, enabling works, and a main design and build contract for the redevelopment of its Romford site. The scheme will deliver a six storey supported living centre to BREEAM Excellent standard, comprising approximately 3000 square metres of supported accommodation with 184 en suite units, resident amenity spaces, ancillary staff facilities, and cycle storage.

The development also includes flexible ground floor studios approximately 300 square metres, Use Class Sui Generis, publicly accessible open space, landscaping, sustainable drainage systems SuDS, a stormwater creek connecting to the River Rom and reconfigured access and parking. Sustainability measures will feature low carbon materials, solar panels, and air source heat pumps for heating, cooling, and hot water. This development will be part funded from by the Greater London Authority and will be subject to the terms of the funding agreement. YMCA Thames Gateway reserves the right to assign or novate contracts to a Special Purpose Vehicle SPV or related entity where required to support funding, delivery, or asset management arrangements.
