Job Summary:
To support Council's COVID-19 response by making contact with people who have tested positive for COVID-19, and close contacts of these individuals, that the national NHS Test & Trace team has been unable to reach. Your role will be to carry out initial interviews to obtain details of close contacts and other relevant information, and to offer public health advice and reassurance to ensure that individuals are following guidance on self-isolation. This will include following standard operating procedures and using online systems to manage cases and keep timely, accurate and contemporaneous records, and attending regular training to keep knowledge and skills up to date. You will also need to provide assistance where required by directing individuals to the appropriate Council department, as well as escalating any concerns to team leaders or managers.
