Description

As part of its Wild Campus project the Royal Agricultural University has a contract opportunity for landscaping works at its Cirencester Campus which we hope to be part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The contract requirements include removal of foundation spoil, grading the area with topsoil and seeded with wildflower seed. The evaluation will apply 70% to price as 30% to quality aspects. The closing date for tender submissions is Friday, 6 March (midday).

The University is in the process of finalising our bid application, however the Wild Campus project as a whole is hoping to receive circa £350k of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund. Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.
