Description

This project was commissioned in order to allow the BMX track at Old Dagenham Park to be returned to its current designation as a sports facility for cyclists of all ages and to mitigate any potential environmental impact associated with the presence of asbestos.

Stage 1 - Remediation works are being conducted by a specialist asbestos contractor.

Stage 2 (this requirement) - Track reinstatement works including:
•ITEM 1: Reshape first berm into two (2) 90 degree berms and add connector jump on new straight. The two (2) berms will require a tarmac surface and the new jump and connector straight will require a dolomite surface
•ITEM 2: Resurface BMX track in proper dolomite where required
•ITEM 3: Lay new sub-base where required

The Council seeks a suitable supplier to carry out stage two of this project.

The deadline for Tender Submissions is 12 noon Friday 20th January 2017
