Description

The refurbishment and fit out of the Old Parcels Office, a grade II listed building at Scarborough Railway Station to provide studio, exhibition and education space for artists and cultural activities.
The works consist of the installation of solar PV panels to the roof, external repairs to brickwork and cast-iron rainwater goods, redecoration of external joinery, construction of new internal exposed brickwork partitions, 3 No new moveable partition walls, new internal doors and openings, stairs, floor finish to ground floor, a new mezzanine floor and walkway, kitchenette and WCs including drainage to existing system together with associated mechanical and electrical installations (new gas-fired boilers for radiators and suspended panel heaters, new light, power, comms and alarms).
