Description

purchase of a microfluidics device to partition single cells and nuclei into nanoliter-scale droplets containing uniquely barcoded GEMs (Gel Bead-In EMulsions). Each GEM able to capture the RNA (transcriptome) from the individual cell/nuclei and contains a unique barcode from the original droplets. Rapid cDNA library generation and fast cell throughput necessary.
