Senior Licensing Officer
Rate of Pay: ?15.78 - ?18.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours (Working hours are 7.45 am to 12 noon and 1.00 pm to 4.15 pm Monday to Thursday and until 3.45 pm on a Friday)
Location: Taxi Licensing Office, Waterfall Lane, Cradley Heath B64 6RL

Brief description:

We are seeking a Senior Licensing Officer to join our Taxi Licensing Team on a short term basis at what is an exciting time of change. We are looking for a manager who has a flexible approach and a clear ability to problem solve and make a difference to a staff team.

The Taxi Licensing Team is responsible for processing applications for driver, vehicle and operator licences in line with the Council's Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Licensing Policy, giving advice and guidance in licensing matters both on the phone and in person and gives evidence in court in person as and when required. The Team are working with a Project Team to implement a new IT Licensing system which gives the team new opportunities to modernise and digitalise many of our processes.
